Let\u2019s begin this journey of discovering Sardinia\u2019s natural sites<\/strong> starting from the south, with the Molentargius\u2013Saline Regional Natural Park in Cagliari<\/strong>. This is one of the largest metropolitan oases and represents a valuable example of industrial archaeology. This area is truly evocative, also thanks to the mining landscape, the true queens of this part of Sardinia. Surrounding these impressive rock formations, you will find the Henry Galleries of Porto Flavia<\/strong>, from which you can enjoy a stunning panorama and breathe in a sense of peace and harmony. Opportunities in this area are endless: you can visit the mines and former miners\u2019 villages, paddle around the stacks, follow hiking trails that climb the hills, or go diving to explore the seabed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We head back toward Cagliari to visit the WWF Oasis of Monte Arcosu<\/strong>, one of the largest in Italy. This is the undisputed kingdom of the very rare Sardinian deer, an elegant and fascinating animal. There is also a colony of very friendly fallow deer. What can you do in this park? You can follow several trekking routes<\/strong> and admire the springs and waterfalls that make the oasis even more enchanting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you love moon-like landscapes<\/strong>? Then you can\u2019t miss the Monte Albo Natural Reserve<\/strong>. Its white limestone peaks help create a landscape that is truly one of a kind, shaped over time by wind and rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We conclude our article with the most recently established park: the Tepilora, Sant\u2019Anna and Rio Posada Regional Natural Park<\/strong>. Nature here is defined by forests of holm oaks and cork oaks that, between Bitti and Lod\u00e8, stretch all the way to the blue sea of Posada. The luckiest visitors may even spot some rare golden eagles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
