Pros and cons of renting a scooter

As mentioned, scooters are a great way to reach the beaches and the various tourist destinations, including those located inland. Among the pros, in addition to the lower rental cost, you’ll find easier parking and smoother navigation through traffic towards popular locations. If you’re travelling alone or as a couple, a scooter might be the perfect choice.

As you can imagine, the main drawback concerns luggage. Unlike car travellers, those moving around by scooter must deal with the lack of a boot, meaning they can only bring a small amount of luggage, chosen carefully. This is mostly a matter of lifestyle and habits: some people can travel with very little, while others need to bring more with them.
